Late afternoon, Catskill Mountains, New York
Taken down the road from Chris's farmhouse in East Arlington
Apples at a Roadside Stand
This was taken at a roadside stand on the drive from Philadelphia to Cape May, New Jersey. This south-central part of New Jersey is quite pretty and is full of small farms and even wineries. Delicious apples, too.
The butterflies at Cape May were prolific!! It is a resting spot for Monarchs migrating south on the east coast.
Fog lifting on lake, early morning
East Arlington, Vermont
This is a lovely small lighthouse along the Delaware Bay north of Cape May
Sunset at Point Cape May
This was a stunning sunset which had everything--lighthouse, birds, beautiful colors, and surfers. But boy, that water was cold!!
Spider web in morning light
The fog was just lifting; these webs were everywhere.
Cape May State Park was still filled with color from fields of sunflowers
Spider in his (her?) web
Photographed during an early morning walk in a nature presrve in Cape May
Church and graveyard, Arlington, Vermont
This is the church Rob's cousin Chris attends when she is living in Vermont. Some of the headstones are hundreds of years old.
We watched this guy hunting for some time. He held perfectly still for what seemed like hours waiting for prey. I finally caught him taking a step.
We attended a Giants/Yankees game on a beautiful day. Note all of the orange on the top level--giants fans are everywhere. We won, too!
Maple leaves with fall color
Taken on the Appalachian Trail near Manchester, Vermont
